Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Background Video Recorder, an Android application published by Apex App Solution (the “App”), and this informational website. By using the App, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please stop using the App.

Permitted use

We provide you with a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App on devices you own or control, subject to applicable store terms and these Terms. You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, resell, or misuse the App except where law expressly permits it.

Responsible and lawful recording

You are responsible for how you use the App and for recordings you make, store, or share. Recording laws differ by country and region. You must comply with applicable privacy, consent, surveillance, intellectual-property, and other laws.

• Obtain consent before recording where legally required.
• Do not use the App to invade privacy, harass others, or record unlawfully.
• Respect the rights and safety of people whose image or voice may be captured.

Background and screen-off features are intended for lawful recording and not for unauthorized surveillance.

App features and availability

The App may offer background video recording, screen-off recording on supported devices, scheduled recordings, gallery management, and app-lock settings. The availability and behavior of features may depend on your device, Android version, permissions, battery settings, hardware, or app version.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App when necessary. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted recording or compatibility with every device.

Advertisements and in-app purchases

The App's Google Play listing indicates that the App contains advertisements and in-app purchases. Google Play or the applicable billing provider may process purchases under its own terms. Prices, purchase availability, refunds, and subscription-related options, if offered, are shown through the applicable store or purchase interface.

Your recordings and content

You remain responsible for the videos and other content you create using the App, including obtaining any rights needed to record or share that content. Please make appropriate backups of important recordings. We are not responsible for recording loss caused by device failure, user error, operating-system restrictions, or events outside our reasonable control, to the extent permitted by law.

Privacy

How the App and associated services handle information is described in our Privacy Policy. Please review it before using any optional account, camera, microphone, or sharing features.

Intellectual property

The App, its design, code, branding, and associated intellectual-property rights, excluding your recordings and third-party materials, belong to Apex App Solution or the applicable rights holders. Google Play and Android are trademarks of their respective owners.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App and website are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis, without warranties beyond those required by law. We do not guarantee that every recording will complete successfully or that recorded files will be recoverable after device damage or data loss.

To the extent permitted by law, Apex App Solution is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use or inability to use the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes protections or rights that cannot legally be excluded in your location.

Updates to terms

We may revise these Terms when features, applicable laws, or our operating practices change. Updates will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
